Every day I am awe-inspired by your performances both as a General and as a normal human being. When I witness your fighting technique, it is like watching a graceful flower dancing on the wind currents. Your movements are so fluent and free like a dove's. Ever since fate brought us together ten years ago, I have had this strange feeling stirring in my soul. It is almost like my heart is trying to escape from its prison inside my body. For ten long, agonizing years, I believed that this feeling was a mixture of jealousy and envy. I was jealous because your swordsmanship is much better than mine, and because Her Majesty thinks more highly of you than I. However, I was wrong about the feeling stirring in my heart and soul. This burning passion is neither jealousy nor envy; it is love. I am in love with the person that is you. I am not sure why I fell in love with such a beautiful creature. I am not even worthy enough to hear your voice or your footsteps. However, I feel as though we are meant to be together. We need each other like a delicate flower needs water. I would die if I was not blessed with the honor of seeing you and hearing your voice every day. We are soul mates, Beatrix. I know that we are destined to be together for the rest of eternity. I truly wish, however, that we could start a serious relationship, although it cannot be. Our duty and allegiance to our Queen and our kingdom take first priority over everything else. They say that a rose called by any other name would still smell as sweet. You are my rose, Beatrix, and I hope you never change. When the sky wears the moon as its pendant, I shall await you at the dock.
