Prologue

The summer princess strikes fear into the very cores of her subjects. Even though she is only half fey, she can potentially be the most dangerous of them all, but she doesn't know it yet. She never could have guessed the reason either. Her destiny is kept a secret from her, but at what cost? She could be the biggest threat to the Nevernever or its savior, but that is her decision and her decision alone and it could change everyone's lives forever. That is why she does not know it yet, but when she turns sixteen all of that is going to change.
