Him

She knew he was a piece of eye candy since the first time she had laid her eyes on him, but she would never admit it out loud to anyone. As much as she was focused on ballet, she still found herself thinking of him in her mind. He had crystal blue eyes, unruly hair and a smile that made her heart melt (she hated how cliché it sounded, yet it described her thoughts perfectly).
She tried to make herself forget him by focusing on dancing even more than she already was, but she never succeeded. As soon as she started dancing, her mind jumped back to him and how he danced as well.
When she found out that he was dating Tara, her heart shattered. It was then that she realized she didn't just admire him for his abilities or looks, but actually had feelings for him. Not just feelings, but love. She loved him and she hated it. She hated loving him because she knew that there would never be something between them. He was happy with Tara and she wanted to be happy for him. Deep inside, however, she was slowly dying.
She started dating Sammy and he seemed to satisfy her..or so she thought. Every hug or kiss with Sammy, she imagined his face and what it would feel like if it were his lips on hers and his arms wrapped around her body in a sweet embrace. Dating Sammy seemed to have only made it worse. She tried to get Ethan out of her mind but she couldn't.
After the holidays, she came back as a new person. She was a lot happier and cheerful but it didn't last long. As soon as she had an argument with Sammy, her happy mood disappeared. She was back to the old Abigail: mean, cold and uncaring.
When he approached her and gave her an offer to let him choreograph her dances, she was thrilled. She accepted without much thought and she enjoyed every minute of working with him. The more she was around him, the more addictive she became to his smile, eyes, touch, smell, his everything.
When she kissed him before her performance, she became even more addicted to him. He was like a drug to her; the more she saw him, the more she wanted of him. Even if their career could only be professional, she still enjoyed the fact that she could be around him. He made her feel like no one else has or ever could. She hated to admit it, but she knew it was true.
She loved him. She loved Ethan and she wouldn't give up that feeling for the world.
