Gas station

My name is Cameron Morgan and I am 22 years old, I work as a secretary for a lawyer. At this current time it is half 5 in the morning and the street lights are still shining bright because the sky was still dark and there was no sign of the sun anywhere.

I was driving to a gas station because my job is about 22 miles away from the apartment block where I live. I pulled in to first gas station that i could see which was 'EuroStar' and I waited at the pump for a worker to come assist me.

This gas station was small and dusty. The roof was rusted and there were only 2 gas pumps. There was no minimart or any type of news agents in this gas station, all there was, was an old crooked shed which looked very shady.

My heart jumped out of my chest when I turned back to the driver side window and saw a guy around 23/24 years old, he had wide eyes and there was a look of fright in them.

"What would you like" he asked with a deep voice, my hand started to tremble.

I rolled the window down a crack and said "Just fill it up please" rolling the window back up again just as quickly as I rolled it down.

He nodded and moved to the back side of the car. He stood there for a couple of minutes, not saying anything and not moving, just staring at the back of my car. I cleared my throat and he looked back up at me, his green eyes were wide again.

"Ummmm...you forgot to open it up"

Oh, no wonder why he was staring at it and not doing anything, but still I couldn't help the sick feeling creeping into my stomach.

He took the pump and started to pump the gas into the car. When he was finished, he walked back up to the front of the car again.

"Miss that will be $38, if you would just come back here with me I can get you your change"

He had a look of desperation in his eyes, like I would do anything he asked me to do. My heart was beating really fast and I could hardly get the words out.

"H-Here's my umm credit card" I rolled the window down another crack and give him my credit card.

I watched him out of my peripheral vision as he walked back quickly to the shed, his eyes never leaving my vehicle. Then he shuffled back to my car

"There's something wrong with this card if you could come back with me then we can call the company"

My hands were shaking as I rolled down the window a crack again.

"Can you not phone the company yourself?!"

He shook his head and growled "Miss if you would just come back with me now!"

I shoved a 50 dollar note out of the window and sped off, I don't care if he had my credit card and I'll cancel it. I sped off down the road, not looking back at the creepy man.

-Zach POV

"Did you tell her" said an authority voice on the phone.

"No I couldn't, but the guy is still there, you got to believe me!"

"So you're saying that when you looked in to the back of the car you saw a man with a knife, and he had his finger to his lips? I'm sorry sir but that isn't very believable"

The police man hung up the phone on me.

I guess I won't be seeing her again...

If you have any suggestions or requests for one-shots I would love to do them! :D

I am going to be updating my story 'Remember me' soon...
