Hey guys! So these are just some drabbles. I might turn some of them into actual stories, but who knows. So some of them will be song fics. Constructive criticism is always welcome!
Disclaimer: I obviously don't own ATLA.

Zuko had never actually realized how much he had actually cared for Katara. He had always figured he missed Mai or placed the blame upon
friendly affection. And then her had let her go. Hadn't even protested or put up a fight. Let the Avatar sweep her away into his perfect white porcelain world,
where there was no doubt she would be happy. That was the thing with Zuko, he never knew what he had until it was torn away from him. He had never
realized how happy he had been until it was all gone, and he was practically drowning in the obscurity. And when he had found light, her light, found beauty
and peace and innocence, she had also been taken away from his cold grasp. He had never delved deep enough to notice how much her light, her
unadulterated perfect glow had seared him, and after they had parted, the darkness she had rescued him had overwhelmed him completely, leaving him
gasping for air. Only then had the scorch marks begun to burn. Zuko thought he knew fire. He had thought he could control it, hold it in the palm of his hand.
He thought he knew its forms, its strength. But then again, he had also thought he knew pain. But with every breath, every thought of Aang and Katara
together, the ache, the inferno in his bones, his lungs, his entirety, intensified. He was living ablaze yet drowning at the same time. Zuko needed Katara.
Yet she had never even been truly his.
