My first attempt at a GG fic. It's a Dair because I think they would make an amazing couple :)

She loves the winter, she really does.
What's not to love about being warmly wrapped up?
In the chicest of coats and the best of boots.
And the snow,
It looks pristine and white
Beautiful.
She's always wanted to be like the snow
Pure and driven
Unblemished.
But she is blemished so she just watches the snow pile up and marvels at its dazzling splendor
Winter calls for hugs and cuddles with the one you love
Except the one she loves
If off chasing a blond summer goddess.
So she sips steaming hot cups of mocha latte
Sitting alone on the steps dressed as warmly as fashion will permit.
Looking winsomely pretty and lonely.
Until he comes and sits by her, sipping some spiced chai
Winter is his favorite time too.
The season for curling up in bed with a book and a steaming mug of cocoa.
And then there is the snow
Inviting but cold
Beautiful but fragile
Just like her maybe?
He ruefully tells her that
The blond summer goddess he gave his heart to
Had handed it back to him slightly broken and damaged
They commiserate and wonder.
What is so wonderful about summer?
Summer left you with burns and ugly sweat stains
Summer did not allow you solitude.
Winter on the other hand was a wonderland.
There is romance in every gently falling snowflake
And the cold in the air only pushes you closer.
Like it does now.
She comes closer and moves closer.
He puts an arm around her and she nestles into his soft woolen sweater.
Warmth instantly spreads and their already pink cheeks turn pinker.
Happiness winds itself around them, creating an aura of warmth.
Who needed summer and fickle blond goddesses?
When right here on the steps
You could create your very own winter wonderland?
