This takes place between 'Fire Across the Galaxy' and 'Seige of Lothal'

Most people would be suspicious, they would question it. But the crew didn't, because the crew didn't know. as Ezra walked down through the 'ghost', he couldn't help but remember when they first started doing this. him and Sabine. they had n official timing, they really just waited for the signal from the other that they were ready to talk.

Slipping back in time, he remembered how he first discovered this. What they had in common. It was funny really, that fact that they both thought of them the same way. At first, they each thought it was stupid, that it didn't matter. But then, his feelings for Sabine changed. Not in a bad way, in fact, it's one of the best things thats happened to him since he accepted his feelings toward the other two.

Walking to the turrent, he saw that Sabine was already there and waiting. "So," he spoke. causing her to turn to face him. the only other sound being that of the constant humming f the ship. But after almost a year of living here, his brain seemed to tune it out. "What do you want to talk about?" His voice hushed.

They only ever did this when they were sure everyone else was asleep. Neither he nor she would ever risk someone over hearing them. Going as far as checking through the force to make sure everyone was in deep sleep. "Nothing much. Just wanted to make sure your alright." He knew she was talking about the two new scars on his cheek.

This was also the only place where they would show their true feelings to each other. It's not that they didn't trust the others, they just didn't feel as comfortable when the rest of the crew was around. They weren't even sure where they stood with each other any more. Bot of them knew that any romantic feelings Ezra had for Sabine in the past were gone, and Ezra wasn't one hundred percent sure how he felt about her. "I'm fine." he turned away from her.

He probably wouldn't of turned to face her again. If not for the fact that she had walked up to him and rapt her arms around him. Ezra didn't blush. No. He understood what the hug meant. It meant many things actually. Things consisting of, "I'm sorry" "I was scared I'd lose you both" and "please, never leave me." But the most prominent thing was three little words, "I love you." Not in a remotely romantic way, but in a way you would say to a sibling. A sibling that you trust very much. No words needed to be spoken as he hugged her back. After all, who wouldn't hug their big sister after a near death experience. Holding each other like a lifeline for a few more moments before going to bed.

Both laid down in their respective bunks, extremely happy. Thinking of all those secret meeting before, where they had shared things that they didn't want the rest of the crew to hear. But the main thing they shared? Was about Hera and Kanan, and how they felt towards them. About how they would almost slip up on a daily basis, almost calling them Mom and Dad. But they no longer cared if it was normal or not. As they both drifted off to sleep, one last hope passed through both of their minds. I hope mom and dad feel the same way about us. Finally drifting off to peaceful sleep.
