"Come on Bella!" Alice said over the phone "It will be fun Jess and Lauren are coming. This party is going to be awsome Jasper will be there too. So get your nose out of that book and come partay!" She pleaded
"OK Alice just this once I will go with you but on one condition, you can NOT play barbie bella with me." I said
"Awww that takes all the fun out of it Bella!" she was so persistant
Every thing going by so fast soon alice and I wil be graduating and going to colleges. The town of Forks was alive getting ready for grauation.
Alice and I had known each other since we were three. I had always lived with my dad in this small town from the time I was born to now. My mother left when I was two with her new husband, Phil, I saw her durring Christmas and spring break.
Alice was the popular type and I was the quiet kind of geeky girl. Alice always made me feel better. Her boyfriend, Jasper, was also one of my best friends. I need them around because I am such a klutz, I fall almost everywhere I go.
I showered quickly and threw on a sparkly coral tank top and some faded skinny jeans with white high heels. I blow dried my hair and put a sparkly clip in it.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I was pretty avrage brown hair half way down my back, milk chocolate eyes, and slender, but not muscular. Here is one thig I have never had a boyfriend, ever.
I am too shy I tell myself. Tonight will be the night that I get a boyfirend. Little did I know……
Later that night
"Oooo lookie who it is Edward Cullen! I knows he loves me and we are meant to be togheter!" Jess has had one too many drinks tonight. Ew I just noticed Mike was staring at me, that guy is messed up! Then I saw the hottie who was standing in the middle of the room joking with Jasper.
Edward Cullen.
His toyed with bronze hair was shimmering in the light of the disco ball. His perfect features astonished me and then he caught me staring. I blushed.
He started to walk over to me, then in the blink of an eye Mike threw me to the floor and said, "No way Cullen she is mine!"
Alice rushed over to me and then Edward protested,"We will have to see about that Mike ."He picked Mike up by his collar and therw him out of the door.
"Are you ok Bella?" Edward asked. Just then I felt the pain in the arm I fell on.
"I think I might have broken my arm." I replied with a small voice
He picked me up and told Alice,"I can take her from here."
He carried me to his car and put me in it. After driving for a minute or two he asked me, "What does Mike mean by 'yu are his'?"
"Mike has had a crush on my forever and he gets jealous whenn cute guys talk to me." I replied.
"Anayways what did you want to ask me?" I asked, puzzled
"Um if you wanted to sit with me at lunch tomarrow, because you are kinda cute." He said embaressed.
"OK I think I will." I answered as we walked through the hospital doors to get my arm fixed.
