Chapter 1: death

I am in a dark room, all is quiet, 'how did I get here? I try to remember how I got here, I remember I was walking in darkness when I saw someone being attacked. I saw blood spurt from his nose and that's when I ran over to stop his assailant I heard stop but I didn't listen and that's when all I remember was seeing the barel of a gun at my face. Wait.' I place my hand to my face. 'no hole, or even bandage; in fact, the pain from the car accident the week before either.' I reach my hand to my ankel where I had not even a scratch from the accident. 'Either I was kidnapped by aliens, the past 2 weeks of my life was a dream, or I am dead, and though I hate to admit it I am pretty sure it's the later of the three.'

That's when I heard a quiet Whirl and see a small slightly cloudy transparent screen appear above me. "Aden Xin, you have died, you may no longer stay on this earth for fear of overpopulation, but there are many more worlds to choose from."

'Well, that answers that question, I wonder what sorts of worlds it is talking about, and why does this screen look like a computer screen, I would have expected a death menu to look a bit more scary?'

"Would you like to veiw your death before choosing a world? Answer yes or no."

'Do I just say it?' "Yes."

"Replaying last death." Just as it says that a screen appears showing me running over to a man crouching over a dog, getting attacked his face bloodyand full of tears. I (the me on the screen) run over and the man attacking him shouts for me to stop, saying that it has nothing to do with me, but I don't lsten, I keep running untill he draws a small gun on me I scream and he yells saying for me to back up and not come closer, I reach for my pocket for my phone as the police show up and that's when he shouted at me for alerting the police and pulls the trigger, moves the gun towards the other man but is shot in the chest before he could pull the trigger.

I puke, 'I just saw myself shot in the face' The screen fades back to a different menu showing a large ammount of several different names, some of which I recognize as anime worlds and some of them said earth on them. 'I thought we couldn't come back to earth.'

I decide to tap one "Anera" a utopian world full of life and wonder, the gods ruling over the land to protect the beauty.

'That one seems nice.' "Anera"

"Anera, World full"

'What? That's posible.'

I randomely tap another one; Human World Earth DN; A land being vigilantically ruled by a group named Kira. L, a man who works for a task force undercover is currently trying to find Kira and they are fighting eachother.

"Human World Earth DN" I see a bright flash and All goes dark.
