Welcome! Introductions will be short, I would like to just say this is my first writing on ever. It's going to be a short story about an adventure I had in Minecraft.

Hello. I am guessing you are reading this to find information? Found my story in an old dusty tavern down the road? I guess I should tell you then…

It all started on a warm summer day during Darreun's Reckoning 1579.

I awoke from my bed, I groaned as I got up, my body aching to slumber the day away. Yesterday was the town reunion, and heck was it tiring! Me and a few other townsfolk (Yes, only a few) had to set up the town reunion, decorate the town, and give
the band to the lord for his fifth year. I look out my window, well it's more like four broken holes, it was designed like a window but without glass and two planks of wood quartering it. Outside a sun, my sun shined bright, no clouds to obstruct
it from this beautiful summer day. I smiled as I turned and grabbed my satchel. I checked it over and over, trying to convince myself I have everything I need in it. I am going on a journey about 56 miles east to a town named Riverside. I had
been saving up for ages, wanting to go there and eat the wondrous foods, visit their righteous blacksmith, and just have fun admiring it. My town, Isingern, was a viking-type village, mostly wood, and only houses. We had no stores or farms, unless
you count my private garden. I inhale deeply, having a small love-hate relationship with myself over the fact that the journey will be long, I'm going to stay in Riverwood for a couple months before I'll want to take the journey back. As I exhale,
I slowly get up and walk towards my old, wooden door. Dust covered the handle, for I had more work to do than talk to others outside. It creaked as it opened, and a bright sunlight emerged into my house. I looked back in my house, as if I was
actually second-guessing myself. As I walked outside, the trees started swaying in the light breeze. Olive and red-maple trees covered most of the forest, but a couple elm trees lingered through. I walked behind my longhouse, to the public dock.
There is always two to three boats there, just for long travels. I inspect each, wanting to take the cleanest one. It will be a couple days to get there, so it would be unethical to get an unclean boat. I indolently got in the watercraft, and
pushed it along off the dock. Though it was an aberration to travel a long way down the river, it felt natural. The water was demure, barely rocking the craft as I floated down and down the stream. The light feel of wind felt good on my rough,
hairy skin. Before long, I started to close my eyes, the peacefulness overtaking me. Right there, right then, I felt finally at eternal peace. Isingern never had this feeling. It was always loud and bustling, people overworked themselves there,
I tell ya. With one heavy breath, I my vision blacked and I slumbered. It was probably hours before I had a dream but it felt like it happened just as my eyes closed.
