Hello there. In this story, I'm going to diverge from the anime, and start this story after the events of pokemon ultra moon, but in johto. This story will be in the point of view of the main character, Emilia Stein, a new OC of mine. I don't own Pokémon. All right belong to their respective owners.
New Bark Town
"Wha- ? Where am I?" I exclaimed , but barely hearing my self.
Looking at my surroundings, it was new bark town, but nobody was around. Suddenly I heard the bushes rustling.
"Who's there?" I asked, hoping nothing bad was about to happen.
After what felt like hours passed by, a levitating shadow went up to me. My brain want me to be scared, but I was calmed by it, and it was as if I knew who or what the shadow was. It then started to lean towards me and then... *Thud*
"OW OW OW OW OW!" I said, bumping my head, apparently doing the exact opposite of an old man in a song I heard as kid. I looked around now, and realized I was in my room.
"*Sigh* Just another weird dream," I said to my self, getting out of bed.
After having breakfast, getting into something that's not my raggedy pajamas and getting my stuff together, head out the door to the professor's lab, only to grab a dream ball that someone from unova gave him for me. Even though I'm twenty three, I wasn't ready to be a trainer till now, and I wanted to catch a starter of my own in a dream ball.
"Hmmm... Should I really catch my own Pokémon?" I pondered, starting to rethink my decision. But that's when I head something behind the lab.
"Is someone there?" I said before going over, only to hear something that sounded like people running into the woods. Curious, I headed behind the lab, and saw an injured pokemon I didn't recognize, which appeared knocked unconscious. I decided to use my five super potions on it, then I brought it back to my house.
After I was back in, the pokemon started to wake up. It then levitated of my back, and went passed me.
"Ugh... What happened..?" The Pokemon said, making wonder if I ate breakfast this morning and was now hallucinating, but remembered I did eat.
"Wait... Why am I in a house, Is someone... there..." The Pokemon said, as it turned around, and saw me.
"Wait... You can actually talk?!" I said, feeling very surprised, only hearing rumors about talking pokemon.
"Of course, pokemon are a lot, and I mean, A LOT like humans," the pokemon said.
"Seeing as you a pokémon, I'm going to catch you," I said, about to grab the dream ball.
"Sure, whatever," The Pokemon said, clearly not listening.
"*Sigh* Alright, Go dream ball!" I said, throwing it at the unidentified pokemon.
"Wait what!?" The Pokemon said right before going into the dream ball. The ball wobbled 3 times and caught it.
"I... I actually did it... I CAUGHT MY FIRST POKEMON!" I said excitedly. Just as I started walking over to the pokeball, the pokemon let itself out.
"Hey! What's the big idea?" the pokemon said, which I ignored as I pulled out my pokédex.
As I looked through the national dex, I managed to find a pokémon very similar, a Latios, but there's e few things off.
The blue or green feathers were Dark Blue grey instead of blue or green, and the white feathers were a pale gold instead. Also, Instead of having red or orange eyes, he had a light Pink left eye, and pale purple right eye.
"I might be your pokemon now, but that doesn't mean you get to boss me around, so don't forget to say 'Please and thank you Sir Tone!'" The Latios said, clearly frustrated with me.
"Okay..? So, should I give you a nickname?" I asked.
"My name is Two Tone Gem, an no, it's the word two, and there's no dashes,"
After inputting what he told me to, everything was all set up. But then I noticed his level.
"Wait... You're already level 60?! How in the world did I catch you?" I said, wondering if for once I had some good luck.
"Well you caught me off guard, and that almost always guarantees that the pokemon will be capture. Thanks a lot!" he said sarcastically, I should have known that it wasn't my lucky break.
"Anyways, we should probably take on the 8 gyms, so let's get going!" I said, excitedly trying to rush out the door, only to notice he had his back turned on me. "Please and thank you Sir Tone?"
"Alright, seeing as you asked politely, I will," Tone said, with his held like some snob.
"Why do I have a feeling this journey is going to be a long one?" I asked myself as we went towards the next town.
