Authors Note: Writing dialogue is so fun, and this is good practice. I have no idea who Sans is talking to, or where he is, or why I want him to suffer but eh. Use your imagination. Incidentally, I'm looking for a beta reader to check for you know…grammar and coherency. I blabber more at the end of this.

What We Need Most
"Sans?"
"Mmm?"
"How long do skeletons live?"
"Depends, we talkin Monster or Human?"
"Sans…"
"Heh. A pretty long time."
"As long as stars live?"
"…some say longer."
"Oh…Sans,how long will you live?"
"A skele-ton longer than you may think, my friend."
"San's!"
"Heh heh. Still got it."
"…Sans?"
"…I dunno. Been here for awhile though."
"Here?"
"Yep. Just kinda…here. Longer than anyone I knew, or know. I was here before the King, before the Core, before the Mountain."
"How long have you been 'here'?"
"…a…a very long time."
"Do you miss your family?"
"Everyday."
"Do you want to go back?"
"To when we were all together, on the surface? Or back to the Underground, when everything was normal with Toriel,Asgore,Undyne and everyone and…and Papyrus? Or back to before even them? Or back to Resets?"
"…"
"I don't know. I don't know if I could go through it all again."
"…would you do it all again?"
"…yeah. Yeah actually, I think so. But I wouldn't do it alone. I'd…I'd ask for help. Support. Just…talk to somebody. Even if they didn't understand. I would at least try to explain to them, help then get it so maybe they could try to help me, or just be there…"
"…I'm sorry. Please don't cry."
"…it's okay to cry. Sometimes….sometimes it's the best thing to do. Sometimes it's what you need most."
Authors Note Again: I've been going through a lot of personal life stuff (moving stinks, I don't recommend it) hence the lack of updates…or really any signs of life, but I haven't forgotten Wingdinger. I'll probably fill time gaps with short bitties like this. As always, all constructive Reviews, Comments and the like are greatly appreciated and help me to improve. And feel free to message me, I'm always open to ideas and request, their fun to do. Thanks for reading this angsty thing. Projecting your feelings onto fictional characters is fun.
