Chapter 1:New Beginnings
An owl swooped over Lily's head and dropped a letter on her. "ugh..i hate taking out the garbage! Ouch!!!!!!!!!!! What is this?" She opened the letter and quickly scanned the contents before she fell. 'Dang..i wish I had been sitting down..that relly hurt my butt.' Lily ran into the kitchen and screamed "MUM!" Her older sister Petunia, who always seemed to bully Lily and enjoy doing so yelled "Shut your bloody mouth! I can't concentrate on my ADVANCED PLACEMENT CHEMISTRY homework." Other than bullying her, Petunia loved to gloat about her superior grades, and make Lily feel stupid and inferior to her. This time.Lily only grinned and thought to herself 'Is she in for a surprise or what?' "MUM, TuNEE, DAD!! Guess what! I have big news for you guys! Come down to the kitchen!" As they all stumbled down to the kitchen, Petunia being last, Lily waited patiently with a large grin on her face. "You'll never believe this! Mum, Dad, Tunee..read this!" Her mother and father's jaws dropped, but they soon collected their wits and turned to congratulate her. "Oh my sweetie pie is a witch!!!! I'm so proud of you Lily! So proud!" Mrs. Evans said. Her father said to her gruffly, "Im proud of ye Lily." As both her parents finished congratulating her, she turned to Petunia and watched her pull her jaw back up only to say, "You FREAK!"
A/N: Hey .are there any British people out there? I really need to correct the way the characters talk. ^^;;; if you are nice enough to do this for me.plz..let me know really fast!
