How to describe a kiss?
Hermione thought to herself. She honestly didn't know how to describe what she felt when she kissed Severus. Perhaps it is impossible to accurately describe kiss without confusing the person you try to explain it to. But in my opinion it's like drowning. I lose myself in that dark penetrating gaze he reads my secrets and mocks at my pathetic attempts at lies. It's like the brain stops working and you just coast by. Something uncontrollable yet tame, a paradox of emotion and questions and they flood your being, bewitching the mind and confusing the senses.Your vision is tunneled and you see only them and you feel the world shatter and fall away like pieces in a hopelessly broken mirror. They flash scenes of rationality but you're too far-gone and too deep in. Soon, the pictures fad to darkness as you see them drift away. The darkness surrounds you it scares yet reassures it burns yet you freeze and you scorn and heal simultaneously. That's when you realize your so far away from yourself you'll think you will never see it again and you sink deeper and deeper to the darkness and then you realize you're drowning in everything that you are, that they are, and everything that you are together.
Hermione shook her head coming back to reality she sighed to herself silently cursing the fact that love had made her soft and unfocussed. But she knew she didn't mind it and she smiled at the thought of her description of a kiss. Well, it certainly was descriptive if it were nothing else. She smiled again as she stood up from her armchair stretching her arms restlessly. Well, if that was drowning. She thought to herself as she closed the door to her study behind her. Then she was certain she never wanted to breathe fresh air again.A/N: Ok, that was really short and probably very stupid and completely pointless but what can I say it begged and begged to be written so any commentary is more than appreciated.
