Author's Note: This is just a little story that I threw together one night. I really wish that it was Christmas time again. It could be seen as a prequel to my other story "Sora's Confusion" if you want.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything, just the plot line to this story.

Ah, Christmas. Christmas was always Sora's Favorite time of year. He loved to walk around town in the evenings and look at all of the beautiful decorations that were put up. Every evening during the week before Christmas he would take these walks until Christmas Eve. On that night he wouldn't walk alone. Instead, he would walk with his best friend, Riku. After the walk they would head back to Sora's house and they'd open the presents that they'd gotten for each other. This was a tradition of theirs that they would uphold, ever since they were little.
Sora walked over to Riku's house. He rang the doorbell and Riku answered.
"Hey Riku!" Sora said cheerfully. "Are you ready to go?"
"Oh! It's time already? Yeah, okay. Just give me a minute." Riku ran over to the closet, grabbed his jacket, slipped on his shoes, and headed out the door.
Even though they lived on an island it could still get pretty cold, but Sora and Riku didn't care. They just wrapped their jackets tighter around themselves and continued walking and admiring the decorations.
The two of them made their way over to a children's playground. They sat on the swings and looked up at the night sky. Sora decided to finally break the silence between them.
"Hey Riku."
"Hmm." Riku took his eyes off the sky and looked at his friend.
"Here" Sora said tossing Riku a small package and smiling. "I couldn't wait, I want you to open your present now." Riku smiled too and unwrapped the present. Inside was a thick chain necklace, much like the one that Sora wore except that this one was gold. He took the pendant into his hands and his eyes widened slightly.
"Sora…I love it!" he smiled and Sora smiled wider.
"I knew you would like it cause you've always liked mine." He put a hand to his chain. Riku held up his.
"You mind giving me a hand?" Sora stood up, took the necklace, and draped it around Riku's neck. As he clasped it together his fingertips brushed against Riku's neck, causing the older boy to shiver, but Sora just assumed it was the cold. He walked in front of Riku.
"There!" he said. Riku looked at the necklace and them up at Sora, aquamarine eyes meeting dark blue ones. He grabbed Sora's wrists and pulled him closer to his level.
"I have a present for you too." Their faces were dangerously close now and Sora's eyes widened. "Merry Christmas. He pressed his lips against Sora's and put his arms around the small boy's waist. He was shocked at how quickly Sora responded, much less responding at all. He wrapped his arms around Riku's neck, pulling them closer. Riku decided to take this as an opportunity and ran his tongue along Sora's bottom lip. Sora immediately granted him entrance. Riku stuck his tongue in, but was stopped by Sora's. Sora and Riku both grinned slightly and the two of them started some sort of wrestle match fighting for dominance over the kiss.
The two boys finally broke apart after quite some time, gasping for air. They found that they were no longer in the swing, but on the ground with Riku on top of Sora. The two of them smiled and stood up and then walked back towards Sora's house hand in hand.
"You know, I think that saying is right: 'It's much better to give than to receive'" Riku said with a smile.
"I dunno," Sora said smiling and putting his hand to his lips, blushing slightly. "I kind liked being on the receiving end of that last 'gift'."
