Pai's Pov:
I was In the ship's control room, looking through my files on the mews. I was updating my data on each of them, when i came to Lettuce's page. I sighed and began to describe her attacks, and was soon lost in my thoughts. The beautiful green-haird girl danced through my mind with those intelligent blue eyes boring through to my soul. I was snapped out of my trance by Kisshu screaming at Taruto. "get your hands off of my book!" yelled kisshu. "you mean your diary?" sneered taruto. "SHUT UP BAKA!" screamed kisshu. "heh-hem. 'today ichigo was sick. I was watching her from outside her window, she looked so pretty when she slept. Carefree and happy. I teleported into her room to check on her, the baka tree hugger had left just when i had shown up. I kissed her forehead and heard her giggle'-" taruto mocked, but i cut him off. "both of you need to shut up and start taking this mission seriously!" i snapped. "i'm going to gather information on earth. Ill be back later." i managed to say somewhat calmly. I teleported out, and reappeared in the park by the cafe. It was raining, hard. Standing under the tree in the middle was a girl. I unconsciously came closer. She had long green hair and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a green tee-shirt and a jean skirt. "Mew Lettuce?" i asked. She turned around quickly, and looked absolutely terrified. "P-P-Pai-San... A-are you here to kill me?" she stammered, obviously scared for her life. I was shocked, she actually thought that i would kill her when she wasn't even fit to battle? I don't even think i could ever bring myself to kill her... No! Pai! You have a job to do! If you fall in love with her, you're as bad as kisshu. Then again, i think i already have. "no, lettuce-san. My brothers were just annoying me a bit too much so i came here to get out of the house." yes, taruto and kisshu are my brothers. Lettuce stood there like a deer in headlights, staring. "is something the matter, lettuce-san?" . She thought a minute with a 'should i trust him?' look. I summoned my fan-weapon and laid it down and held my hands up. "see, i wont hurt you." i said. "f-fine. I was asked to meet ryou here but he stood me up." she said, a tears pooling in her eyes. "don't cry, lettuce-san. He didn't deserve you anyways. That arrogant human." i said, trying to comfort her. She looked up at me "b-but i-i-i th-thought he-he l-loved m-me." she sobbed. She looked absolutely heartbroken. I couldnt hold back my emotions anymore. I looked her eight in the eyes, and i kissed her. When i pulled away, she looked shocked. "i love you, lettuce-san." i said. She stared at me, "i love you to, Pai-san..." she said. I picked her up and started to carry her towards the park enterance. "w-what are you d-doing." she stammered. "im taking you home, your parents will be worried if you're out all night." i said, and gave her a small smile. Once we were where noone could see us, i teleported us to her house. "thank you, Pai-Kun." she said. "no, thank you, lettuce-chan." i said.
