Each time he sees her, he swears that she's gotten more beautiful. Sometimes she stops to sit with him, reminds him of when they first met with her smile and warmth in her voice. Tonight, she dances in the waves, kicking up small sprays of water that rejoice with her.

He lies back, tired and exhausted. But even as he begins to brood, he finds himself unable when he sees her. He is contented by the fact that the moon is where it is supposed to be and trails a toe in the sea spray. Red hair obstructs his view; moon is blocked by her silhouette. She leans forwards and he pulls her in, pressing a kiss against her lips.

She laughs lovingly and ducks back into the sea; disappears and leaves him feeling both fulfilled and empty.

Fujimoto steers his boat back underwater - back towards where their daughters wait as their mother, as untamed as always, spreads herself to the seven seas.
