A/N: I wrote this as just a poem for fun, I remember writing it in a GCSE physics class. However, as I am going through my documents on my laptop, I figured I could ffn it then post it. I guess it fit as a Prim + HG deal.
Haiku: a form of Japanese poetry with 17 syllables in three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, often describing nature or a season.
Each stanza of this poem is a haiku, though separately they don't really make much sense. The stanza's follow the same syllable structure as haiku's though a number of them together just equals poetry. But oh well, at least I can count. Let me know what you think please.
Prim by Peeta
Looking at your face
Staring down at her picture
Your heartbroken gaze
I know you loved her
Believe me, I loved her too
I can feel your pain
Remember her smile
Remember the way she laughed
The way her eyes shined
It hurts now, but think
She wouldn't want you to cry
Celebrate her life
This is not the end
You'll see her again sometime
You haven't lost her.
Prim, she was unique
She was one of a kind, pure
Prim was life, was love
Deep in the meadow
She is watching and smiling,
Her spirit lives on.
