Forks, Washington. You tell some people they are moving there and they start to complain. Me? I started to scream, jump around, and in a general sense, freak out. I was overjoyed at the fact I was moving to the same, rainy little town that housed my favorite vampires ever to exist, The Cullens.
We moved the next morning, my friends having come by the night before to say goodbye. I reread Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn five times over before we arrived in Forks from New Jersey. Jumping out of our tan colored van and into the pouring ran, I ran around, screaming "Hello Cullens!"
I was finally forced inside, and by that night I had unpacked and set up my room. We lived on the outskirts of town, a good sized home. My room had been done in blues, greens and silvers of different shades, and looked out into the dark and green forest. Knowing I had school the next day, I crawled into the large bed and fell into a deep sleep.
It was drizzling when I woke up, the droplets running down the glass windows. It was 5:30 in the morning, still dark, and too early for any sane teenager to wake up. After dressing in a pair of dark wash jeans, a white t-shirt, my black Killers sweatshirt with the white ram on it, and my black and white Pumas, I jogged downstairs. After grabbing the keys to my black Volvo, a 16th birthday gift, I ran out into the now pouring rain and drove out.
Grabbing chocolate chip cookies and coffee at McDonalds, I ate on the way to school. Following in the traffic, I stared at Forks High in awe. It was exactly the way I imagined it. Parking to an old green SUV, I climbed out of the car, stepping onto the cold, black and wet pavement. Reaching into the passenger seat, I grabbed my white JanSport backpack, slinging it over my shoulder.
Then, I made my way to the office. The only way I figured out it was the office was the fact that there was a little wooden sign outside that read in block letters "SCHOOL OFFICE". As I walked, inside, I was dying for a glimpse of topaz eyes.
After receiving a slip of paper, which I had to get all of my teachers to sign by the end of the day, I was sent off to my first class, English. Greeted by a teacher with the name of Ms. Knowles, slightly plump with blonde hair. I had her sign the sheet of paper before the dreaded question came, the one I had been getting all my life. "Why don't you introduce yourself?"
"Um, okay. My name is Chelsea, and I'm from New Jersey. I moved here because my dad is in the FBI, and we move a lot. Kay, I'm a huge fan of Twilight, and you often will find me reading it. Is that good?" I asked. Ms. Knowles nodded, and motioned for me to take a seat. Sitting down, I discovered to be sitting behind a very cute boy with wavy chocolate brown hair, matching eyes, and freckles.
As I opened my book to place my name in it, he offered me a smile and a name. Liam McCarthy. I was about to tell him my name and offer a smile back, when I looked at the previous owner of the book. Edward Cullen was written in perfect cursive. Opening my mouth, I screamed, ignoring the looks of my classmates. Then, doing what any Twilight fan would do, I fainted.
