If any was too ask Mr. Finch if he was ever a believer in Parallel Dimenions, he would say no. He was one of those people who had thought the existence of another different world in another different place to be impossible. At least, that was, until yesterday.

Another Maycomb he had ventured to last night. It was familiar, with the same buildings, the same rivers, and the same people. And yet, at the same time, it was so different. Upheaval and not celebration most of Maycomb was in, forunconstitutional the Court ruled segregation in Brown v. Board of Education. One where Jem had died

But the greatest shock came to him from himself. Atticus of another dimension, to be exact. He remained a good father in that dimension, and a black man he once fought for. In a town of racists, he saw the blacks as human. So it was a great shock to Mr. Finch when he saw Atticus in conference with segregationist and Klan members. Foul things he said of the blacks.

Mr. Finch did not hear any more, for he had immediately returned to his own dimension.

The whole night he had spent wondering of the Atticus of the other dimension. What had gone wrong? he thought. As a child in a family of bigots, he had to learn by himself to view blacks as equals. Was it the crankiness of old age that undone all those learning? Or the chaos in Maycomb? Or perhaps, the death of his son?

He thought, and he thought. And then, finally, he made a decision.

Early next morning, he rose, and walked towards the Radley House. He knocked on the door. Soon, Arthur Radley opened it up for him, and led him down the hallway to a silver room filled with a bunch of weird contraptions. On the wall was written the words "Space Looper".

"Arthur, bring me back to the Watchmen Verse," said Finch. "I am going to learn more of Atticus, walk a mile in his shoes."

It was a shock to Scout, and definitely to all Finchians all over the world, of Atticus Finch's behavior in Go Set a Watchman. But GSAW was the early manuscript form of TKAM, so technically, it is more than just a sequel. So I thought: What if it was another dimension? So you have this story now.
