This is my take on the Quinn car crash from "On My Way". Finchel and Faberry awakening. Here we go.
Chapter 1
QPOV
I drove hastily down the highway. I couldn't believe that I was running so late. My phone was going crazy on the seat next to me. Every few seconds I could hear the buzz of a new text message, so tempting to answer. I sped along but soon caught up to slow moving combine or something. I passed by it and my phone buzzed once again. I picked it up quickly and glanced down. Some of the messages read "Hurry" or "Starting soon!" I finally just typed a response. "On My Way" I just got the message sent off before I heard the blaring of a car horn and felt my entire body being smashed and jolted around. Glass broke and speckled my skin with cuts and blood began to pour from my skin. My car had flipped to its side. I crawled forward as far as I could. The pain was terrible. Every breath was like a knife to the chest, repeated stabbing, like Scream. I reached out for my phone which had been strewn across the vehicle. My hand was mere inches away before my body went completely dead and all was dark.
It seemed like hours later before I woke up again. I was still strapped into my seat. The blood that was flowing from my wounds before had now dried. I could see the ends of my blonde hair were stained red. I unbuckled my seat belt and opened the door which was now above me. I pushed it open and began to pull myself out. If I thought having a baby was painful this was 10 times worse. I was half way out when I saw some truck lights approaching me from a distance. It parked about 20 meters from where my car was totaled. "Hey! Are you ok?" My eyes began to droop again. My body went limp and I felt my chest and head smash against the roof of my car.
Rough hands lifted me up and out of the vehicle. "Stay with me! Don't fall asleep! Look at me! Don't fall asleep, don't fall…"
