"You're not mad?" he asked confused.

"Of course, not. Why would I be?" she asked.

"Well I mean we just, you know... broke up," he replied.

"And?" she asked again.

"Aren't you the least bit upset?" he asked shocked.

"No," the girl responded.

"Well why not?" he was surprised.

"Because I believe that everyone has one person- one person who is supposed to change you and make you realize a whole bunch of things about yourself that you never knew were there and if I'm not that person for you then it's okay. You were that person for me and so if you don't want to be with me- yes it hurts but it's okay because you deserve to find the person that does that for you. I owe that to you," the girl explained.

"You sure aren't like any other girl I know," the boy said slowly.

"Well that's all thanks to you," the girl answered with a soft smile before she turned and went to walk away.

"Wait!" the boy called, "Will I ever see you again?"

The girl just turned and looked into his eyes sadly, "No."
