The blonde beauty stepped out of the shower, a towel wrapped around her curves. She examined her face in the mirror before she put on her pajamas.
In the main room of her apartment, the clock read 11PM. Not late enough, yet.
To pass the time she worked on her novel, half her mind focused on the paper, and the other half focused on the passage of time.
Soon enough, it was a quarter past 1AM. She put her writing materials away, and plodded to the bed.
Under the covers, she eyed the window; the moon beamed at her. As sleep tugged at her eyelids, a tap at the window jarred her from slumber.
The brightness of the moon casted a shadow over his face, but illuminated his pink hair. She was not afraid of the figure perched outside the window, she was excited. The blonde opened the window for the pinkette to climb through. They sat across from each other on the bed in silence. It was dark in the room, but she felt his grin on her skin; she had goosebumps.
She moved to touch his face, and in the blink of an eye he was on top of her. Lips touched, teeth nibbled, and hands wandered. Her nails dragged down his back while his hand grasped at her full chest. It was a heated moment of passion, and neither could tear themselves away. They continued on until sleep finally captured them.
When drops of the faint morning sun splashed through the window they, both woke. He planted a soft kiss on her forehead, while she smiled wistfully. He opened the window and leapt into the dark morning; she snuggled back into bed to count more sheep.
When the blonde woke for the second time, it was nearly noon. She remembered the events of earlier that morning, she smiled to herself, and then got out of bed to get ready for the day.
By the time she arrived at the guild, the usual loudness emanated from inside. She spotted her friends at a table in the middle of the hall.
They asked her where she had been all morning, she replied that she just slept in late. Not a lie, but not the whole truth.
A crash behind her drew her attention to pink-headed subject of her thoughts.
He had his usual goofy grin, but when he caught the girl's eye he held her stare. They shared a knowing look. They needed the day to be over so the blanket of night could hide their secret.
