It was an ordinary day in Radiator Springs. Lightning didn't have a race today. He was kind of glad he wasn't in much of a racing mood. He just wanted to spend time at home with his friends that had became his family.

"Oh hello, Lightning Mcqueen." said as voice as Lightning drove around. Lightning stopped and looked at the car who spoke to him.

"Oh..hi Holly! It's good to see you again." Lightning said. Then he realized she might of just wanted to see her boyfriend. "Uh..Mater's busy towing some one right now,so-"

"Oh that's okay." Holly replied. "Every time I visit it's to be with him. Maybe it would be good to get to know his best friend."

"Sure." Lightning said. " Mater says your really nice."

Holly smiled. Having a girlfriend kind of changed Mater a bit. When she visited he spent all the time he could with her. Lightning understood that. It was almost like him and Sally and how they wanted time together a lot.

They started driving together around Radiator Springs.

"So you've been visiting more often." Lightning said to make conversation with her. They didn't have much to talk about. Holly just smiled.

"Well I've had less missions recently so I can visit more." She explained. " It's nice here and I really like being with Mater.."

Lightning laughed a bit. "Well, you're his girlfriend of course you'd like spending time with him."

"Of course." Holly laughed kind of nervously. She shifted her eyes a bit. Lightning didn't really notice. They just drove some more and talked.

"So how long have you been racing?" Holly asked.

"A long time." Lightning said thinking back.

"Oh. Do you like racing?" Holly asked.

"Yeah, but sometimes it's nice to just be home." Lightning explained. "And be with my friends. Like you."

Holly slowed down a bit. That was a surprise to her. "Were friends?"

Lightning looked over to her. "Yeah. We've hung out a bit. Do you think we shouldn't or something?"

"No, no! Of course not! I want to be your friend. Mater taught me having friends is nice." Holly replied. Then they pulled into an alleyway. " You're very nice."
