Kevin's POV
I was running. These terrible things were chasing after me. They were breathing fire. I ran to the nearest woman, but somehow she didn't notice these fire-breathing monsters. I mean, how can you miss 7ft monsters. Especially when they breathe fire! I kept running. I kept running, until I collided with…
Kayla's POV
This jerk collided into me! Who does he think he is! Now he is gesturing and pointing at something behind him. It is a 7ft fire-breathing monster. He says to run, and we run. We run like the wind. Eventually we are tired. When we look behind us, we see that the monsters are coming.
Kevin's POV
I have to help this girl! I dragged her into this mess in the first place. So I start running from home, and somehow monsters get through to me. What are they, the police in monster form? They look like Bowser x100. I feel something at my feet. I throw away the dirt and a bow and arrow is found. The quiver has three slightly gold arrows. I grab the bow, load it, and shoot. I hit the monster right in the chest. The monster disintegrates into yellow dust. Behind us, there are a bunch of kids about my age, maybe 15 or 16? They are all armed with bows, spears, or swords. The girl hides behind me. I drop the bow and quiver and put my hands up in mock surrender. The kids are a little surprised and begin chatting amongst themselves.
Kayla's POV
I am really scared. First, a fire-breathing monster, and now kids with weapons. This boy I met up with was awesome with the bow and arrow. He hit the monster like he had been practicing for years! It was nice that one of us could stand up to that monster. These kids are coming to take us somewhere. All we have is a bow and arrow. We might as well just go with it. They take us to what appears to be a strawberry farm. Then one says "We allow these demigods to enter!" What did he say? Demigods? What are demigods? I know demi=half, but gods don't exist. If they did, it might explain the weird dreams I have been having recently. Once we step inside, we don't see a strawberry farm. We see a lot of cabins. (You know what comes here, I'll skip it.) Anyway, we go to Chiron. The centaur, I think. The demigod's name is Austin. He says he is a son of Apollo, god of the sun. He is the senior counselor. He shows us around camp. Wait, I forgot to ask the boy I traveled with his name! I have to remember to do that.
Austin's POV
I think the boy is a son of Apollo. I saw him shoot that arrow perfectly. I know perfect being a son of Apollo myself. Dad had given me a crash course while I was on Olympus. The girl is cute. She could be a daughter of Aphrodite.
