There were some definite advantages to having a boyfriend from back in time, Victor thought as he stroked Jonas' head.
For one thing, he had old fashioned ideas about chivalry: he held doors open, he gave Victor first use of the shower, he even organised a carriage ride for the two of them. (Although this meant that he thought of Victor as the woman in the relationship- something in need of immediate rectification).
For another, no one had ever actually given Jonas a gift before. Victor loved the way his boyfriend's face lit up every time Victor gave him something, even if it was just chewing gum.
But the absolute best part was how easily he could alter history.
