"Mon El, I think you should stay" Imra stated abruptly. This stopped Mon El in tracks as he looked at his wife, who was handing him her wedding ring.

"What do you mean, stay? Imra, we have the Legion, and we have to make sure that the Blight was stopped-"

"Mon El, I saw how you looked at Kara when Pestilence scratched her, and when she got sick. You held her in your arms and you looked like you were about to kiss her. And the way you look at her, and when she was in the forest in her mind, and she was dying, I heard your entire conversation with J'onn; you said you wanted to protect her, to help her, to hold her. I love you, I really do, but I don't want to get in between what you guys have. That something, it's special, and it's unique. You'll never find someone you love like that anywhere else"

"Imra, what are you saying?"

"I'm saying, maybe we need to put this on rest. I need you to figure out your feelings, okay? I love you Mon El" she said as she shut the door to the ship, locking Mon El out. He felt like a part of him had been ripped out, but he also felt happy.

"Mon El, shouldn't you have left with the legion?" Alex asked. as the ship flew away.

"Actually, no Imra told me to stay. Where's Kara?" he asked.

"She's training, I'm pretty sure. She was pretty torn up after you guys announced you were leaving"

"Uh, can you help me with something? I want to surprise her"

"Hey Kara, I think you should go home and rest, you've been at this for hours" Alex suggested as she walked into the room. There Kara was with bloodstained knuckles as she had been punching the concrete blocks for over 5 hours.

"I'm surprised you didn't come in here earlier" Kara murmured as she tried to hide the blood from Alex. She successfully did, and flew away towards her apartment.

"Mon El, didn't you leave about 4 hours ago?" Kara asked as she saw Mon El at her kitchen island with a bag of pot stickers.

"Well, no. Imra told me to stay" he said quietly. "Alex told me you were beating yourself up over everything. I figured food would help" he said as he handed her the bag. She grabbed it with her non-bloody hand.

"Uh..thanks" she sighed as she sat down on the couch. Unfortunately, she forgot to hide her hand.

"Hey Kara, your hand is bleeding" he said quietly pointing at her hand.

"Shit" she murmured under her breath.

"What's going on Kara?"

"I...uh..don't tell Alex, please" she whispered. "I'm pregnant. The medications she put me on, they chemically mixed. I don't know what triggered it, if my baby is even healthy...I don't know anything, and I can't even work up the courage to tell her" she whimpered. And then she was crying. After attempting to reason with her for about 20 and clearly seeing that it wasn't working, I did the only other thing I could think of: He kissed her. And she kissed back too. And then she pulled away.

"Uh..Mon El...you're married" she said quietly, trying to hide the fact that she was blushing madly.

"Kara, we got divorced when she left to go back to the future" he smiled and kissed her again.

"Really?" she asked like she didn't believe him.

"Yeah. If it's okay with you, can we get back together?" he asked awkwardly. Kara didn't answer him with words; she pressed her lips up against his.

"That's all I wanted since I found you in that ship" she smiled sadly. "I love you Mon El"

"I love you Kara" he said, and he'd never said anything more true in his life
