note: Hi, Code Geass fandom! I'm not here too often but I do love this fandom.
note2: I adore Euphie and Suzaku. They're definitely my OTP in the series.
note3: I hope I got their characters down, though.
note4: Enjoy the fluffy drabble!
disclaimer: If I owned Code Geass, Euphie and Suzaku's love story would not have ended that way—hell, it wouldn't have ended at all! Then again, Code Geass would not be Code Geass without the end of their love story. Sigh.
summary: Origami: best past-time ever.
During the rare idle (sweet, sweet) tranquil times, with no urgent calls to the jarring battlefield or calls to (required) royal duties, they sat in her office, folding paper cranes and tiny paper flowers with busy, crafting hands.
Suzaku had taught her origami (with a little persuasion), and she always liked to do it whenever she can, even pulling him to do it with her. She would never admit it (or she might just die blushing), but it became a time when they bonded, when everything seemed so simple and just beautiful. When they weren't a Britannian Princess and her Knight, but merely being Euphie and Suzaku.
Humming an unknown tune softly, she folded a piece of bright pink paper horizontally.
"Not like that, Milady."
Suzaku leaned over her shoulder and she watched, mesmerized, as he guided her hands to do the correct fold with delicate fingers.
When she looked back to meet his eyes, she hadn't even realized that he was closely pressed to her back, his arms around her (they always seemed to make her feel safe). Face exploding into bright hues of red, she replicated the fold as best as she could, only to earn her finger a light cut. She immediately retracted her hand at the prick, blood dripping from the cut. Suzaku held her hand up to his face and licked the blood off the wound, making the blush even darker. "Be careful, Euphie," he reprimanded softly, a small smile on his lips as he gazed down on her with tender eyes.
Yup, Euphie definitely loved doing origami with Suzaku.
note: I know this is pretty narcissistic, but even I squeal while reading this. Maybe that's just me though.
note2: Is it just me? If not, tell me with the box over there. If yes, still tell me with the box over there.
