The beginning
"Estrella, my shining star, you're in charge of the colony until I return. Be their leader through these dark times."
"Where are you going?"
"Do not worry about that my child. Be strong for me and know that you shall always be in my heart."
"Yes mother"
My head shot up from my pillow. It was that damn dream again. Who am I trying to fool. The more I deny it the more I know it's real. It was the last time I saw my mother. I still remember what she looked like. She was standing in her royal regalia, her head held high with her blue mane flowing on its own and what looked like the stars themselves embedded into it. I shall always remember that day. It has been one-thousand years and I still wait for her return.
