Story time:
Once there was a makuhita that wanted to be the strongest, he was going to be the champion boxer. So once he was old enough he entered the tournament. But he was easily beaten in his first match.
He slowly started to walk home, tears running down his face, but then someone said "is that it, are you gonna give up on your dreams that easily or are you gonna work harder and stand stronger then ever before" "what's the point" he said "i was a laughing stock, the kid who didn't know what he was doing. I'll never become champion" then the stranger said "sure you will you just need the right teacher, and i just happen to know where you can find one." *the stranger steps out of the alley* "Your hitmonchan, world famous boxer and held the title of champion for over 10 years!!!" "Nice to see i haven't been forgotten, now then you gonna let one loss kill your dream, or are you gonna come with me and learn to fight for it."
So for the next year every day makuhita would go to hitmonchan's dojo and together they would train for hours. Then the day before the tournament hitmonchan and makuhita both got very sick, but while hitmonchan wasn't able to fight or train at all because of his sickness, makuhita had become much stronger then ever before, he had gotten pokerus! He was stronger then ever and he was finnaly ready. There was only one problem, all of his hard training had destroyed his gloves and he was already at the tournament.
Just then hitmonchan appeared "you didn't think i was gonna let you go out there and win without me seeing it did ya" then, seeing the gloves he said "here take my gloves, my days in the ring are over but yours are just beginning."
Makuhita kept winning match after match until he was face to face against the champion. But the champion was able to quickly overthrow our hero. And that's the story of the first shiny makuhita.
But wait, the story isn't over yet:
For as the champion threw him over his back makuhita noticed something a little odd the champion was wearing a metal skeleton he quickly jumped up and grabbed it pulling it out for all to see. The crowd stared in amazement the champion was cheating.
The judge immediately disqualified him, making makuhita the new champion he had won. "I knew from the very first second i saw ya that you could do it and i was right" said hitmonchan. "here are your gloves back" said our hero the new champion. "keep em kid you've earned them, plus you'll use em more then i will, i'm proud of ya."
And that's the story of the first shiny makuhita.
