The whistling of a the catle pot can be heard from the kitchen a signal that the water is hot enough for a certain tea addict's standard. Turning off the burner and starting the much needed tea. SPD's assistant unknowingly prepared five cups including her's and just as she realize that there are extra cups; the tinkle of the door sounded which she immediately came to see who came to their small office. Upon walking to the lounge room she welcomed a very disheveled man in his mid 50's, and by looks of it haven't had a good rest for a couple of days. Once the man looked up at her Mai welcomed him to Shibuya Private Division, gave him a cup of tea and helped him to settle down on the sofa.

"Kindly wait for a minute while i call my boss and we will then discuss the reason you came to SPD" the man heard as sthe brunette move back and walk toward someone's door.

Heading to the CEO door Mai knock three time a signal they decided to silently inform the person behind the door that a client arrived "Shibuya-san (she only calls him that when there's a client waiting) a client is here..."

The only confirmation that he heard her words was the sound of the chair moving and that is her cue to informed the other member and assistant, but before her knuckle touch the door; it opened and a tall dark haired man came out with his laptop on hand. He only looked at her and proceed to sit at the lounge a seat apart across the client.

"oh well better give them the tea before it turns cold" Mai though as she went to handout the drink but before she could put the cup down the bells once again sounded and a female with mid-long black hair came with a box at hand. "lunch delivery fo-".

Silence followed the room and just as the girl was to retreat back out she saw the disheveled man. " Paulin-san?" Mai looked at her "Do you know him Yuki-san?"

" ah! Hai! We lived in the same neighborhood though i haven't seen them since i came back" she looked at Mai silently asking her why he came. "why don't you have some tea first before you go back at the cafe."

Taking the cup and sitting across Mai she looked at the man carefully seeing the state he is. It was a two hours later that knew the reason for his state. What she heard was also a shock to her, Yuki was now waiting for Mai to come out since the female assistant insist that she wait for her. The reason was Mai wanted to accompany her to the wake of Paulin-san's three children, Yuki remembered the times back at her childhood playing together with Adachi and jasu. It was saddening to think of what was done to them, and what their father is going through with his wife not out of danger yet and not knowing whether she will survive or not after the operation.

After going to the wake she was going to stay over the night with Yuki, it was late and her flat was in the opposite direction and besides the office was only two stations from Yuki's house while her was five stops away. as she was preparing to sleep Mai remembered the headline on one of the newspaper a four days ago, " Man found his family murdered, his three offspring dead and his wife in critical condition with a bullet in the head".

She was slowly being pulled to sleep and before she was overtaken the last thought he have was "i hope the investigation solve the case sooner and found the culprit so that their deaths can be brought to justice".

This short story is dedicated to the three siblings, it is based on a recent murder case; i change their names and i only applied a lil' of the case to this story a very basic info..
