"Morning, dear," Mrs. Weasley said to me as I walked in the door.

"Morning Hermione," Ron mumbled.

I sat between Sirius and Ron. Sirius handed me a newspaper.

Undesirable #1: Harry Potter

I rolled my eyes and showed it to Ron. He grunted and got a bowl of cereal.

"You two need to come with me when you're finished eating. Meet me in the first door on the left. Third floor," Sirius said to me and Ron.

Ron and I looked at each other, puzzled, and finished as fast as we could. He smiled at us and followed us up. He shut the door and told us to have a seat.

"Harry's in trouble. The Dursleys have him penned up like a dog. I should know," he said with a hint of a smile.

"What? How?" Ron asked.

"They refuse to feed him. But, Molly thinks it's a bad idea to send him here. She says he'll want to join the order."

"Well, he should! He is the one Voldemort's after," I said.

"Hermione, I'm not the one saying this. I'm just telling you what I know."

"Is there any way we can go get him?" Ron asked.

I looked at Sirius eagerly.

"I'm afraid not. Dumbledore told us to let it rest. He said the Dursleys will come around."

"Have you met them? They're horrible! They'll never let him go," I said.

"Dumbledore has his ways."

"Ronald Weasley! You get down here this instant!" Mrs. Weasley yelled.

Ron groaned and left. Fred and George poked their heads in.

"We smashed mom's favorite plates and blamed it on Ron," Fred said, laughing.

Sirius laughed.

"That's not funny," I said.

Fred and George shrugged and ran downstairs.

"Is Harry okay?" I asked.

"I don't know. He won't respond to my letters. I hope he gets out soon."

Sirius and I left the room to go help on with the mess, Sirius still laughing.
