Behind Superman: The Thoughts of Clark Kent
It's just a job.
When I land,
Why do people form a mob?
I'm just a person,
performing a good deed.
They say I'm what they need.
I save people.
That's what I do.
So why do they act like I'm something new?
They've seen other people before.
Why do they think I'm something more?
I guess I am something new.
In all truth, my humanity is untrue.
Maybe I am something more.
After all, I have the ability to soar.
I feel pain from kryptonite,
and posses amazing sight.
I hear things nobody else can,
and have speed that is possessed by no other man.
