"Why do I always fell that when you're around I can't joke around as much?" Urahara whined to Yoruichi.
"Maybe it's because the last time you did that, we had to get Kurosaki-taichou here for three days straight..." Jinta smirked as he took a sip of the tea Tessai had poured.
"Eh? When was that?"
"... and you got amnesia of that entire week."
Yoruichi sighed, barely dressed and sitting lazily against the wall with one knee up and her arm resting over it. Yoruichi felt the need to train or fight or something. Her muscles were getting tense again like they were for a while before she went to the Soul Society to retrieve Rukia with Ichigo, Ishida, Inoue and Yasutora.
She stretched her arms out as she leaned on her leg with her whole body, stretching her back.
"If I have to sit in this store for any longer then I'm gonna go insane,"
The oddly quiet store really got on Yoruichi's nerves.
"Why don't you sleep like you usually do?"
"Because I normally turn into a cat when I take a nap,"
"Oh. Right,"
Yoruichi had pulled several muscles in her tail, which made being a cat extremely painful. The doctor's orders were - no turning into a cat for three weeks to let it heal. If it still hurts after that, I suggest you see a vet.
Yoruichi punched him over the head and shouted at him 'I'm stuck as a human for three weeks?!?!' which caught a bit of attention of the current customer, Kurosaki Yuzu.
Jinta made up that Urahara was watching a moving in the back room to cover for Yoruichi's very loud and annoying outburst.
Yuzu then asked what movie was it which made it awkward. Jinta had to reply with a foreign one that you couldn't find anywhere anymore and the Yuzu asked if she could borrow it sometime. Jinta said yes, but since then, he had always made up an excuse about the movie being used or lost.
"Kisuke," Yoruichi hissed, "You are going to pay for this."
The cause of Yoruichi's tail problem - Urahara didn't notice that Yoruichi was at his feet when he dropped a heavy box which was full of his old papers and books on Yoruichi. He has yet to live it down.
"Oh, Yoruichi-san! You'll be fine! Only another thirteen days and you'll be as fit as a fiddle!" Urahara laughed nervously.
"That's it,"
For the next thirteen days, Urahara had forgotten his name for twenty three hours, been knocked unconscious for the total of five days and had twelve broken ribs to make up for his division he left behind.
"Oh dear. Kurosaki-taichou will not be pleased," Tessai said to Ururu.
Truth be told, when Kurosaki Isshin turned up later that evening, he was not, but not sympathetic.
"You did deserve that, Kisuke,"
"Who? Are you talking to me?"
