The Life of a Night Fury

Toothless has always been...Different. Toothless hatched out of an egg that was different from the rest. This particular egg was black and had a hint of blue at the center, in a strange explosion like shape. This egg didn't explode like the normal eggs. oh no not even close, you see this dragon could not survive in such an explosion. It set itself on fire and slowly burned away. This was very strange and confused all the other Night Fury's. The didn't know what to do.

This Night Fury was much smaller than all of the other's. He had a small tail and small wings, and couldn't breath fire on comand like the got bullied by his brothers and sisters. Only one Night Fury would respect him. This particular Night Fury was daughter of the cheif of the Night Furys. This is the story of how life was for a young Night Fury named Nightwing.

"MOLLY! STOP MESSING WITH NIGHTWING AND GET OVER HERE!" Screames a very angry mother Night this point Nightwing(Toothless) Is about 2 months old.

"Yes mother" Molly says In a very sad likes messing with didn't like Molly, and he still doesn't like her

Nightwing Stretches and yawns, folding his wings and covering his face with his fragile tail. A Night Fury flies in and Nightwing looks up. He see's a beautiful Albino Night Fury with bright blue eyes,long wings and tail, and very strong legs. Said Night Fury comes up to Nightwing, who backs away, ears folded back whimpering.

"shh. Its ok little one" The white Night Fury says in a calming voice. Nightwing looks up at thoughs shining blue eyes."My names Snowflake, but you can call me snow" Nightwing puts his paws over his eyes smileing slightly. Snowflake Laughs at this."You must be Nightwing"

At hearing his name his ears shoot up. Nightwing rubs his head against Snowflakes muzzle. Snowflake licks him, smiles and walks away.

"he's beautiful" Snowflake says as she walks towards Nightwings mother.

"he's the most beautiful Night Fury I have ever seen, but he's so small... so fragile" suddenlly theres a yell of suprize and happiness. Snow and Nightwings mother turn to see a little curious Night Fury hopping over to them. Nightwing tries to stop but ends up hitting snow in her sniffs it curiously.

Snow laughs" Can't wait to fly can you?" Nightwing nods. snowflake leans in close. " In 30 moons, I will be back, and I will teach you how to fly." Nightwing screaches in exitement an hops around the cave. when he turns around he see's Snowflake is gone. His ears fold back in dissapoinment.

*30 moons later*

"NIGHTWING I'M SORRY! JUST PLEASE COME BACK. I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" Molly screams. Nightwing keeps running, never wanting to stop.

Friend one: ok, ok wait... why is Toothless running?

Me: JUST SHUT UP AND READ

Friend one: ok.. ok..

Nightwing stops at a lake and looks at his reflection. There was a nasty looking cut over his eye, and he put a paw over it. He walked over to a grassy area and tried to shoot the ground with fire. He tried over and over , but nothing happend. He roared in anger and closed his eyes but then sudenly..

*BOOM*

He open his eyes slowly and looked down. The ground was burning like he wanted it to. His jaw dropped in suprize."h-how? wh-when? why?WHAAAAAAAAA...!?" He couldn't belive he actually could breath fire. He thought he couldn't because he was much smaller, weaker, and had no special sniffed to check. His jaw dropped again when he realized it WAS his. He walked over to another patch of grass and tried the same thing again but with his eyes open.

*BOOM*

He cried out in joy. Thats when Molly, Snowflake, and his mother came flying out of the tree's.

"WEHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" His mother cries out as she ran to him

Learning how to shoot fire. thats where he had been. He just didn't want to say anything.

"WHAT HAPPEND TO YOUR EYE?!" His mother roars in alarm. Mollys ears droop and she leans her head looks at his mom and quickly says...

"I fell on a rock and hit the sharp part"

His mother looks at him and smiles."well be home before dinner. were having salmon." Nightwing smiles and says" I will"

"well we better get going then." Nightwing looks at Snowflake in confusion. "I said I would be back in 30 moons to teach you how to fly."

"oh" Nightwing mentally slaps himself for forgeting. I mean HOW could you forget about getting flying lesons with your dream quickly shakes his head to get rid of the thought that he likes her. I mean she's WAAAAAY older than Nightwing. Theres no way that could work.

"here we are" Snowflake says, giving Nightwing a smug expression.

He didn't have time to respond because the next second he was in the air. Screaming for dear life. "SNOW! WHERE ARE WE GOING!?"

"YOU'LL SEE! ITS NOT THAT BAD. YOU BIG BABY!"

"SHUT UP"

They land on a big rock with a flat top.

"umm what are we doing up here?" Nightwing asks, who Is actually terrified of hights.

"To learn how to fly silly" snowflake says. Nightwing walks over to the edge of the rock looking down.

"are you sure this is sAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..." Snowflake kicked Nightwing off the edge.
