Riley Matthews had the perfect life; an amazing best friend Maya Hart, an awesome boyfriend Lucas Friar, and a wonderful family. If only she'd known that her perfect life would be changing drastically when her parents tell her some much unexpected news.
It was 6:00 A.M. and Cory and Topanga's alarm clock was going off like crazy. Topanga groaned and rolled over to turn it off. She looked over her shoulder and noticed her husband was still sleeping. Topanga quickly got out of bed and darted towards the bathroom. She pulled back her hair; as her dinner from the night before made a reappearance.
This had been happening for the past few days. At first Topanga hoped and prayed that it was just a bug but as more time passed she had a sneaking suspicion that this was no bug. She had tried her hardest to keep her vomiting from Cory but she knew that her secret would be out soon.
Topanga slumped down against the wall and sighed. She closed her eyes still praying that it was just a virus. Moments later the door opened and Cory stared at her with wide eyes.
"Topanga, are you all right?" Cory asked with caring eyes.
"Yea, I'm fine." She replied.
Cory walked over to her side and wrapped his arm around her. "Topanga are you sure you're gonna be ok?"
"Cory I'm sure." She mumbled.
He kissed the crown of her head before grabbing her hand and helping her up off the floor. Good thing Cory was oblivious to most things going on around him. When Topanga went to shower she grabbed a test out of the top cabinet in their bathroom.
Her heart racing a thousand miles as she sat on toilet. Her mouth was dry and she was playing with her fingers. Topanga sat the test onto the counter before climbing into the shower.
She practically jumped out of the shower when she heard the timer go off. She picked up the plastic stick and saw to pink lines indicating that she was indeed pregnant. She was so freaked out that she dropped the test.
She placed her hand over heart and started breathing heavily. "Oh my god." Topanga said out loud.
"Honey, are you ok?" Cory asked knocking on the door.
"Yea, I'm fine." She replied.
Cory wasn't completely satisfied with her answer but decided she would talk about whatever was going on when she was ready.
Topanga decided she needed to hide the test so Cory wouldn't find it. She put it in the bottom drawer in their bathroom. Topanga tried to not to get nauseous again but it was hard when you had to fix breakfast for the whole family and watch them eat.
Topanga was fixing toast when Riley came skipping down the stairs.
"Good morning mom." Riley said cheerfully.
"Good morning sweetie." Topanga replied.
Riley gazed at her mom for a moment, noticing something seemed off about her. "Mom, are you feeling alright?" Riley asked.
"I'm fine." Topanga said.
"No you're not." Cory chimed in.
"What are you talking about?" Riley asked worried.
"I mean you're mother is denying that she doesn't feel well." Cory said before wrapping his arms around her.
"Cory, I told you I'm fine."
Cory shook his head and kissed the side of her head. "Cory I'm not really in the mood." Topanga said moving away from him.
"But you never back away from my kisses."
"I told you I wasn't in the mood." She said sternly.
Cory held his hands up in the air and backed away. "I have to go to work early so I love you guys and I'll see you later." Topanga said before rushing out of the door.
"What's wrong with mommy?" Auggie asked.
"I'm not sure." Cory replied.
Moments later Maya came through the door. "What's up losers?" Maya asked.
"Nothing much." Riley replied.
"Well what's up with your mom I saw her running down the hall, she didn't even stop to say hi."
"She's not feeling well or at least she won't admit it. This morning she was throwing up in the bathroom."
Maya nodded her head and sat down at the table with Riley and Auggie as Cory got up.
"I'm gonna go brush my teeth." Cory said before leaving the room.
He walked into his and Topanga's bathroom and began to run the water from the sink. When he tried to open the drawer to get out the toothpaste it was jammed on something.
"That's weird." Cory thought.
He pulled on the little knob furiously trying to open the drawer. He looked inside the draw to see what was keeping it jammed. He grabbed the plastic stick and pulled it out. He dropped it onto the counter not really thinking of what he'd just pulled out of the drawer.
"What is this anyways?" Cory said to himself. He picked up the test and gazed at it until he realized what it was.
Everything began to click at that moment. The vomiting, her moody attitude, and she had been extremely tired lately.
Cory's eyes widened and he dropped the test onto the counter.
"Topanga's pregnant." Cory said out loud.
Hey everyone this is my first story so tell me what you think! I got this idea when I was looking through the Girl meets world writers tweets and I saw that Cory and Topanga might have another child. Cory and Topanga are seriously like my OTP and I love writing about them. Next chapter will be about the rest of the family finding out and how they cope with it. And Cory's lesson for the class is very ironic to this whole situation. Riley and Lucas are currently dating in this story so there will be Rucas. There will also be Corpanga and maybe Markle.
