When you need to leave Rosewood… Ezra
A tear slipped from her cheek, landing on the book page. A few more tears slid down her cheeks before she lightly shut the book. She slipped the book under her pillow, so if her parents ever came into her room it was safe.
"Aria can I come in," Ella said after she knocked on the door. "I really need to talk to you." Aria sighed and slowly got up from her bed, trudging over to the door. She wasn't particularly happy with her parents right now, after last night her mother and father had been harsher than they were before.
She jerked the door open. "Yes," Aria said and walked back to resume her position on her bed. Ella looked around before walking in and then she sighed as she sat on Aria's desk chair.
"I'm glad that you are going out with Holden tomorrow, it's a good chance to forget about everything and catch up." Ella said, folding her hands in her lap.
Aria raised her eyebrow giving her mom a look, "To forget about everything, what that you and dad aren't letting me see Ezra, is that what you're talking about?" Aria folded her arms across her chest. She shook her head and looked over at the picture that was sitting on her shelf. It was her and Ezra; it was sitting behind another picture, but she knew it was there.
"Aria, you need to forget about him! He was your teacher and you are sixteen. I told you and your father told Ezra, that you two are never to see each other again." She snapped, Ella stood up and put her hand on the door handle ready to open it.
"What would you do if you in my situation?" Aria asked before Ella left. Ella looked back raising her eye brows. "What would I do? What would I do?" She said harshly, putting her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, what would you do if your parents told you that you couldn't see the man you love anymore? That you couldn't even say goodbye properly. You've been through hell and back with this guy that you are completely in love with and risked everything with and you can't even see him." Aria cried. "How would you feel about that?" she said looking at her mom, whose face was red with fury.
"Are you seriously telling me that you are in love with Ezra, that he didn't just convince you to be with him? I don't get it? This is wrong in so many ways Aria, how do you not understand that?" Ella said.
Tears began to well up again in Aria's eyes. "Yes mom I love him and age has never been an issue, we love each other and we don't care what anybody else thinks. He is the most important person in my life; he's been there for me through everything from Alison to the police, through everything Mom. You can't just take him away from me." Aria cried tears were now rapidly falling down her cheeks. Ella's face softened as she saw her daughter cry. She slowly walked over to her and sat down next to her. Ella put her arm around her daughter and Aria snuggled into her sobbing.
"Aria," Ella lifted her daughter face up and wiped her tears. "I'll talk to your father, although this is still something I am not happy about I can't stand to see you so hurt." Ella got up without another word and walked out the door.
Don't forget to review! I have a major story coming up so keep an eye out for it. As of right now it is currently being edited by a friend, so it should be up in the next month. It's called "500 Days of Aria", so don't forget to check it out, well when it's out. :)
