The moment Lisa opens the door and sees Sam, her eyes explode with terror.
"Is he…" she begins, her voice shaky and panicked.
"No," Sam answers quickly. "He's alive."
Lisa sags into the door in relief before stiffening and eyeing Sam in grim realization. "He's hurt then."
"Yeah." Sam nods behind him towards the Impala. "He didn't want me to bring him here, but it's kind of an emergency and we didn't have anywhere else to go. Plus, I think it'd be good for him."
"Sam, I can't, I just..."
"Please."
Lisa shuts her eyes and sighs, relenting. "One night."
