Aria and Ezra, Ezra and Aria, those are the words Emily always heard said about the great power couple. Aria and Ezra met when she went to a bar and got a carbonated beverage. She had a conversation with this guy who ended up being her English teacher. Secretly, Emily though that the situation was just too weird. Emily always seemed to have trouble with relationships. Everyone from Somara to the tragic death of Maya, relationships never went her way.
Like routine, Aria always went to visit Esra at his apartment. Those trips were mostly done in secret because the relationship was so taboo. Unlike other times, they had to go to Esra's place to talk more about A. Emily and Aria knocked on the door. It was strange to see that he didn't answer right away. He buttoned up his shirt but as it turned out he put it on the wrong way.
Aria asked, "Why is your shirt put on the wrong way?"
Ezra said confounded, "Ugggh...well. I just got out of the shower."
Emily confronted Ezra saying that you didn't take a shower, your hair isn't wet.
Emily and Aria barged in the door and saw Meredith Sorenson in his bed. Aria was just crushed and ran out the door crying and gave Esra the finger before leaving.
Aria cried for days and days on end. Her tears never seemed to stop. The shoulder she had to lean on was Emily's. Her tears flowed onto her shirt. Emily knew that she would have to console her to help her get over Esra. But when she consoled her, she kissed Aria's lips instead of her cheek.
Aria was speechless, not saying a word. She didn't know Emily was in love with her before. The shock at first made the sadness more difficult.
Aria, as some people wouldn't know that Aria had a girl crush on Emily for a long time, but didn't want to tell her. After her last tear fell, she would tell her of her crush. They saw each other change in the locker room and each time they each glanced at each other without each other knowing it.
Aria felt she had to tell her that night or she wouldn't have her chance any other time.
When she was being consoled one other time, Aria told Emily that she had a secret she had to tell her. Emily shook her head. She put her face on her ear, her hand cupping it and said I have a crush on you. Emily was elated about this news. Emily told her that she likes her too.
