Disclaimer: I don't own InuYasha
Author's Note: This story takes place immediately after the end of the third movie. If you haven't seen it, this won't make sense.
InuYasha bolted. He didn't know what else to do. He just reacted. Fight or flight. His instincts told him to get the hell out of there. If he didn't, InuYasha knew someone would have gotten hurt.
He had to get away. A blur of colors whizzed by him. Green melted into brown. Yellow, pink, and blue looked like a blob just thrown together. It was making him dizzy mixing with the tears in his eyes. The clear drops clouding his vision until he couldn't see straight anymore.
Finally settling himself on the highest branch of a tree, InuYasha recalled the reason for his retreat. He let the tears flow freely now. Pain was written all over his face. Amber eyes usually full of fire were dull and listless. They lost their spark because he felt broken. The worthlessness he never allowed himself to feel now hit him full force.
That fucking bitch! How could she do this to me?! Is she really that desparate for control? She truly believes that I'll do something wrong. Its more like I won't do what she wants me to do. She needs to be in charge of my life. Its my life!
He laughed out load at that thought. His life was in her hands, and the Beads of Subjugation was all the proof he'd need. She knew he wouldn't agree willingly to put it back on. Damn wench tricked me. More tears slid down his cheeks. InuYasha fully understood how much faith she had in him as the tears kept falling.
None.
