I looked around at all the lifeless bodies scattered throughout the dark bloody room. My hands glowed giving off a golden light in the darkness. I pinched my nose closed from the foul decaying smell of the corpses.
Pitch whispered from the shadows. "Now, we can rule the world together... just you.. and me..."
"No!" I yelled out. "I'm not like you!" I exclaimed, darting my eyes around in search of Pitch.
He chuckled in the deep tone he always used. "Why the sudden outburst?" Pitch emerged from a shadow in the corner of the room. He circled around me in an intimidating stance.
"Stop doing that." I said through gritted teeth, still, he kept on circling me.
"Or else what?" He mocked me as I could feel my body heat up and my anger boil. I floated up to him in a second and tightly clenched his neck as my hands emitted the golden light. Steam started to rise above my palms as Pitch tried to gasp for air, trying to pull my hands off his neck.
"Or else I will turn you into nothing.." I softly said through my clenched teeth. " I can and will turn you from Pitch Black to Dusty Ashes, you got that?!"
Pitch weakly nodded his head as his yellow eyes widened in fear. I released my grip on his neck. He fell to the floor gasping, trying to inhale as much air as he could, while caressing his burnt neck. I grabbed my ivory sword from my back and turned the sharp blade to his neck.
I knelt down to face him.
"You have such a nice neck, I wonder what would happen if I-" I lifted the sword up, ready to strike down on him. Pitch flinched and covered his neck in defense as he shut his eyes tightly. I scoffed in disgust and put the sword back.
"Pathetic..." I loudly muttered to him as I slowly stood up. Pitch took one last glance at me and slyly grinned.
"You'll need me..." He echoed before vanishing into the darkness with a sliver of smoke left behind. Frustrated and confused, I forcefully punched through a wall creating a big gaping hole in the middle.
"Why would I want him for?" I murmured to myself as I looked down from the hole. Several humans looked up at the hole and started pointing and yelling at me. Cars stopped abruptly as more people started clumping around the tall building.
Humans, they get entertained by the simplest thing. I was in mid-thought when the door burst open, revealing several men in S.W.A.T uniform and gas masks.
They all pointed their fancy guns and flashlights at me. I winced at the brightness of the flashlight even though it was daytime.
"Come out with your hands up!" One man in the front ordered me through his foggy green mask which made his voice sound disorted. I slowly raised both of my arms up as they cautiously crouched closer, wary of what I was going to do.
"Why don't you come and get me then." I playfully said before falling down backwards. The men rushed to look at me from the destroyed wall. I stuck out my toungue at them and blew a raspberry. I turned around in mid-air and glided above the spectating humans. They stared at me perplexed, astounded and confused with their mouths hanging open.
Like I said, humans can be easily amused by the simpliest thing.
