A Special Valentine

BruceDiana

Diana walked back and forth in her quarters in the Watchtower still clad in her red dress, the one she had worn when she was in Paris. Three hours ago, she was supposed to be on a planned-out date with Bruce until he was called off on a mission to stop Poison Ivy from doing her devious plan on Valentine's Day. She was targeting couples who were out on dates. She had made a batch of roses that had pheromones that made her control every male who bought the flowers she had made. Diana sighed while sitting down on her bed. She took off the clip on her hair and her raven-colored hair bounced and shimmered as it fell on her shoulders. She took off her red stilettos and rubbed her aching feet. Although she wore heels in her uniform, the ones she was wearing now made her feel very uncomfortable.

Diana heard a whooshing noise and glanced at her door. She saw a tall figure standing outside and she could feel him staring at her. He walked towards her and she realized that it was Bruce. His cape had fully shrouded him. She almost burst in tears when he handed a bouquet of red roses. She stood up from her bed and clutched the bouquet in her hand. The scent of the fresh flowers wandered her nostrils. "Those were grown in Mother's garden. Alfred cut and arranged them especially for you," Bruce said in his baritone voice. Diana could hear the grin in his voice. She smiled at him. She couldn't find the words to say to him. What he had done was the sweetest thing he had done. The image of seeing Batman handing out a bouquet of roses is such a rarity. She placed the bouquet on her bed and looked at him. "I'm sorry," he said in a sad tone this time, "it was an emergency―" she placed her index finger on his lips, shushing him. "Happy Valentine's Day, Bruce," Diana greeted as she wrapped her arms around his neck while she took off his cowl with her other hand. She slowly inched forwards and kissed his lips. He had eventually returned the favor to her. The kiss felt like forever for the both of them. Diana pushes Bruce against the wall and frantically kisses him as if she had been longing to touch him for so long. He wraps his arm around her waist while the other fisted her hair as he pulled her closer. Diana manages to take off his belt with only one hand. Bruce could feel her smile when she had managed to achieve the task. After that, she proceeded with his cowl. Her right hand held on to his shoulder tight while she slipped the other hand under his cowl. Diana pulled away to stare at Bruce and she smiled. Bruce then caresses her face as he touched her cheek. He could not believe that she was his. He slowly guided her to the bed and laid her down gently. Bruce looked down at her and grinned. It was now Diana's turn to caress his cheek. Her hand had also touched his jaw and felt it clench underneath her touch, "Happy Valentine's Day, Bruce," Diana said again. He planted short kisses on her forehead, nose, and her lips, "I love you too, Diana."
