Teaching The Heart

Master Splinter knew that Mya loved him deeply, but she was too afraid to share her feelings with him. He was very low key and he loved her back, but every time he tried to get her to loosen up she would run away from him.

"There has got to be a way to calm this young one down." He said to himself.

"Why not tell her how you really feel!" Leonardo suggested.

"No, my son. I have to handle this situation delicately. She needs to have peace within herself before she can accept my intentions." He said softly. "I will speak with her myself tonight."

Later on, Mya was sitting at the table eating her rice quietly. Once Splinter walked in, her heart began to race and she began to sweat. She could not get that dreamy look out of her eye!

"Hello, Mya." He said softly.

"H-Hello, Master Splinter." She said softly. He then sat next to her and began to eat his rice too. She tried to focus on her food, but she could not take her eyes off of him. Even though he was mutated, his kind heart and soul were what made him attractive. He was truly the most wonderful man she had ever seen, mutated or not! She was snapped from her thoughts by a soft, clawed hand touching hers.

"Mya…relax…you are so stressed." He cooed. Mya blushed and looked away. He then chuckled and turned her to face him again. "Come now…I am not fearsome, am I?"

"Of course not!" She said and she then began to giggle as his tail was tickling her legs and thighs under the table. "AH! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!"

"What is so funny, Mya?" He said as he leaned back a bit and let his tail now run playfully under her chin.

"Y-Your tail is tickling me!" She giggled. She then grabbed a hold of it and she noticed how smooth it was. Everyone expects a rat's tail to be disgusting and rough. This was the exact opposite. It was smooth and felt great! Splinter then chuckled as she ran her nails gently over his tail.

"Mya…your gestures are very soothing. Please continue…," he smiled. She then laid her hand on his tail and began to walk her fingers up his tail. She now felt more confident about showing her affection now that Splinter got her to release her fear. He helped her to loosen up. She continued to walk her fingers up his tail and she stopped when she was getting closer to his hindquarters. He then looked at her over his shoulder and gave her a small smile.

"Place your hand on my lower back and continue, Mya. You are not harming me or being intrusive." He smiled. Mya giggled and started walking her fingers from his lower back to his shoulders. He shuddered in happiness and then turned around and took her in his arms.

"I love you, Mya. I did this to prove that showing affection is not a terrible thing."

"I understand, Splinter. I needed this because…because…I love you too!" She said as she smashed her lips into his. He kissed her deeply and then let her go.

"Are you sure you could love a mutant like me?"

"Of course I can! You are a man both on the inside and out and I am proud to call you mine. That is…if you will have me." Mya said shyly. Splinter looked at her and then took her face gently in his clawed hand and kissed her on her lips.

"Does that answer your question?"

"I think it does!" She smiled softly as she kissed him again. Their love had found a way.
