Hey, sorry if people are going to get annoyed by all the Until Dawn fanfictions, but, I've been playing the game and I need to get my ideas out. So here we go. My thoughts about the creepy Dr. Hill.

Someone once asked me: What does Dr. Hill have to do with the story line of Until Dawn? What role does he play?

You can call this a theory or you can call it a fan's thoughts.

I believe that Dr. Hill is in Josh's head as a part of his subconscious. I think that the reason why he's there is because he's the one that is trying to do something he truly regret, like accidentally kill one of the friends. I also think that Dr. Hill is Josh's subconscious trying to help him pull through and cope with his sisters' disappearance and death.

I feel like, in a way, Josh blames himself for what happened to Hannah and Beth because he was drunk and unconscious and couldn't stop Hannah from going out in the first place. Since he blames himself, his subconscious created a "therapist" that was trying to assure Josh that he couldn't have done anything differently to change their fate and that he can't blame himself for what happened.

The game changed the background of Dr. Hill's office and his attitude towards Josh to convey that Josh's mind was spiraling out of control more and more each session until it was to the point of no return.

AND DONE! Hopefully some people can agree to my mindset. If you think something else about Dr. Hill. Tell me in the comments or send me a PM. I would love to know what other people think about it.
