A/N: Wrote this a long, long time ago, don't think it's much good, but decided to put it up regardless.

Five times the Doctor is interrupted
(and the one time he makes sure)
-
1.
They were dancing in an old hospital, about to meet their certain death. He didn't care. He flirted with her, and she flirted back. She smiled. He looked deeply into her eyes, pulled her closer...
"Hey, you two! Most people actually notice when they've been teleported, you know."
-
2.
Rose was laughing. Truly a heavenly sound. He wanted to kiss her, her cheek, her nose, her neck...but he'd settle for her lips for now. He leaned in...
"Hah! That was real funny, Doc! Hey, Rose, listen to this one..."
-
3.
Rose was babbling. She had talked non-stop for over half an hour. How could she continue to rattle out phrases at such a high velocity speed? Humans had much bigger lungs than he'd have thought.
If he did it now, he'd have the excuse of trying to shut her up...
"Oy! Rose, take a breather once in a while!"
-
4.
The Tardis shook. Great. Another Time disruption, and now he'd have to go parts hunting with the Captain. Then there was another shake, larger this time, and Rose lost her balance, grabbing him with her as she fell.
She was so close, her face only a fraction of an inch from his. All he'd have to do was move his head a tiny bit to the left, and...
A hand appeared out of nowhere, and he felt himself being hauled off Rose. Then the Captain was bent over Rose, smiling.
"Here, take my hand, I'll get you up and about in no time!"
-
5.
Dancing. What was it with this constant dancing, anyway? Nevertheless, he had to admit, it was nice. Even if it was in a shady alien bar.
Rose was in his arms, smiling up at him, her eyes bright. He let the alien rhythms carry them along, and he gave what he knew Rose referred to as the 'goofy grin'.
If he would happen to step out of tune to the music, accidentally of course, they would literally be nose to nose...
He felt an insistent tap on his shoulder, and he almost groaned when he heard the voice.
"Hey, Doc, mind if I cut in? If you don't want to dance, then perhaps Rose might appreciate some of my moves..."
-
Jack woke up suddenly, and almost squeaked with surprise, though he'd never admit that to anyone. Ever.
He felt a pair of hands dragging him along, and tried to get a look at who, or what, was doing the dragging.
"Oy! Doc, what's going on?"
The Doctor ignored him, just opened the door and threw him straight out. He threw out his clothes, including the coat, a second later.
"Stay away for a few hours. Do not try to get in, the doors will be locked."
Jack felt, more than saw, the door slamming in his face. He stood there for a moment, then walked away, wearing nothing but a small smile playing on his lips.
