What is this place? I thought walking strange halls.

I had woken up in a pure white room. I mean pure white. No color what so ever. I headed out the door to find some strange things, Pokémon no people no combinations of the two inside windowless rooms (the only window was on the door). And a door with the nametag across the top that says, Gijinka. I was about to open the door when someone's hand appeared on the door from behind me.

"What do you think your doing?" Said a strong voice behind me. I whipped around only to come face to face with that dude's chest. He was at least 6' and I'm a mere 5'5". "I said what do you think you're doing?" He said when I didn't reply.

"I-I-I wanted to know what's behind this door." I whispered. I didn't expect him to hear it but he did.

"Well I guess they weren't kidding when they say 'curiosity killed the cat.'."

"Huh?" I whispered once more.

"Never mind. How did you get out of your room?" I had my head down since I turned around. But I didn't dare look up. I was afraid to look up especially after what I saw today.

"The door was unlocked so I just walked out."

"That's strange. All doors are always locked."

"This one wasn't." I muttered mentioning the one behind me.

"That's because all the others are. Well are supposed to be. But obviously not. Here come with me. If they ask, don't say anything I will do the talking. Okay?" I nodded. "Good. Now follow me."

"Where are we going?" I said. Every sound I made so far has been a whisper. I can't seem to be able to raise my voice.

"My room. They will understand if I tell them your room needs to be redone. Especially the lock. If I said that they will shut up. Their jobs depend on making sure all the locks are working and making sure no one roaming around that they don't trust." He kept looking straight ahead. As if to make sure no one was going to suddenly appear.

His room was the most colorful thing I've seen since I woke up. There was a brown desk and a black bed. Those where the only colorful things besides steel and snow color. Everything else was white. The walls, floor, ceiling included.

"Who are you?" I had to ask. I don't expect him to reply though. It's worth a shot, I think.

"You really are curious aren't you?"

"You didn't answer my question."

"You first."

"No I asked first. You go."

"No." He looked away. He is acting like a child.

"Man, you are stubborn. Your acting like a child."

"No, you are. All I did was ask a question and then the next thing I know you are telling me I'm a child. That's not very nice." At this I turn.

"Wow. I don't know why I even bothered." He looked back at me, smiling, but I was facing the other way.

This is my first story I've written so I'm just testing it out to see if I should continue to wirte it or not.
