You Would Know

A Poem set exactly after Homecoming. It's a poem written for Rose about how Jake wished she would remember all that they have been through in the last year and a half. Second poem whoo! R&R

You Would Know

This poem is set after Homecoming. It is in the point of view of Jake Long, as if writing to Rose. Of course if he was writing to her, she would never get it...how sad. :(

Warning: I do not own American Dragon: Jake Long. If I did, well, new episodes would have already played by now :(.

If you were to read this poem,

I have written down for you.

You would know the way,

My life has changed for you.

You'd know the challenges,

That we tried to construe.

You'd know the secrets,

I revealed to stay true.

You'd know the tension,

That build up and grew,

You'd know the adventures,

We continued to pursue.

You'd know the truth,

That we believed untrue.

You'd know the terrors,

That we got ourselves into.

You'd know the many things,

You saved me through.

You'd know me;

Remember our last adieu?

You'd know my name;

Remember my love too.

Everything I've done,

And continue to do.

Was to give you a life,

You deserved to renew.

One thing you do know,

Is my gift to thank you:

By erasing your life,

And everything we knew.

I know lately I haven't been writing many fanfics anymore. But for the past year, I have been working more on my poet skills. :) Lately I have been dying to write up another American Dragon poem, and BOOM! Last night, one comes to my mind. It's similar to the last poem I wrote, just different wording. But it's so cute! XD
