I guess... you could consider this a companion fic to 'Hearing is Believing'. And please forgive the quality of this one... I'm kinda tired and just wanted to type something up real quick. I have a thing for torturing Pikachu, I think... Ahaha. Love the little ball of yellow, but things like these are fun. Resistance is futile.

Pink Vibes
Pikachu was having a bad day. Admittedly, he hadn't really considered any of this current week good, he still considered this one the worst day yet. Why? Because this time, instead of being in professor Oak's lab like he had the past five days, he was stuck in the house he had been avoiding coming to.
No one knew why he was so upset, sulking on the couch and refusing to come off his favorite pillow, or away from the ketchup bottle Mrs. Ketchum had brought home, but it was for sure that he was depressed and not moving. No way in hell was he going within a five feet radius of his trainer. The pink vibes might get to him.
Yes, the pink vibes.
For one week, once a year, for the past five years, Pikachu had to deal with the 'Pink' vibes. Wave after wave it came off his trainer like he was some sort of Chimecho performing a Heal Bell. And the small mouse Pokemon couldn't stand it; there were just some things that went without explaining.
Like the way he would come out of his room, or come home with that smile – the one that Pikachu dreaded to see, for the Pink Vibes would attack him mercilessly if he dared go near. Ash learned the hard way not to mess with Pikachu after getting quite an electrifying Thunder attack when he came home, and especially not when he came down stairs and the other one followed. The other one being the kin of the old Oak, the nuisance that made the Pink come in the first place. He learned his lesson with a ferocious nip to the wrist and an Iron Tail the second time around. Pikachu was more reluctant to hurt other people besides his own trainer.
They never did it when the others were around, oh no, and when it seemed like Ash's mother would never leave they went to Gary's house. That was what Pikachu prayed for; that the mother would stay and save him. But alas, sometimes she didn't get the hint and went to go shopping. And with the doors and windows locked, there was no escape.
It wasn't like he could hear them; they were pretty quiet, considering, but that just wasn't the point. The point was that it was happening, and he knew that it was. Pikachu could whine and 'cha' all he wanted, but it wasn't going away.
And so, Pikachu sat forlornly on his favorite couch cushion, praying and coddling next to faithful old Ketchup, his only true friend when it came to situations like this. He would have to fight the Pink away all on his own.
Think of the Pink as an after effect that only Pikachu can notice, since he knows Ash so well. Ever heard of the phrase 'You're glowing with happiness'? Well, yeah... I guess Ash's glow is pink XD
