Golden eyes slowly flickered open, the ageless ravages of time thinly veiled in those sun colored orbs. It had been a long time. Immeasurable over the trillions of timelines they'd been closed, but the current timeline had just barely grown. The only reason the ageless being had arisen was to handle personal affairs. The world spread out before them and they pondered it carefully before selecting the time and place.

With little fanfare and even less awe they appeared, drifting to the ground, a soft breeze carefully guiding even longer hair to a soft landing below them. Arrival was hardly noted by the few gathered around the bed, but they all moved to let the being pass and stand beside it. Golden eyes peered down at the man in the bed thoughtfully. He was breathing slowly, eyes shut. Awake, he was, but not aware that his love was beside him.

"Taylor." The words were gentle but firm, grasping his attention and drawing his eyes open. They drifted around before catching his loved ones eyes. Golden and emotionless.

"Bright!" His voice was weak but ecstatic as he reached a hand up, to which the god bent down, the hand being allowed to caress their cheek.

"I go by Zana now, Love. It's been a nice life, I'll admit." They started, reaching up to gently hold the hand close. "I won't be taking you from your timezone anymore, love. This is the end. I'm sick of trying for pleasurable timelines." The voice was soft and waning, weak but strong with ages of temperament. Their eyes shut and they finally smiled kindly at their husband, continuing. "I hope you won't hold this against me in the everlasting abyss, My darling. I can't handle seeing you suffer every single timeline I bring you along with." A few tears bubbled up out of the corners of the closed eyes and he carefully swept them away.

"I would never hold anything against you, Br- Zana. I love you, and I always have. In all the timelines I've loved you." He says softly, leaning up carefully and gently kissing his beloved. His smile was weak with age and health, but still held all the fervor of young love within it, after all, he cherished his loved one so much. So very much.

"I'm so glad,Odin." That name had been reserved for special occasions, and the god supposed the possible death was a good reason to use it. They turned their head slightly, as though looking at something despite their eyes being closed.

It turned out they just didn't want to watch as their loved one slowly slumped back, hand falling away from their cheek. The sound of flat lining spread throughout the room and the god stood, stepping back.

A soft breath escaped them and they smiled gently, a careless expression on their face.

"Goodnight and goobye, Beloved."
