Title: Without regret
So his chairman's Destiny plan is like that. Matching every human with roles corresponding to their own abilities with genetic engineering… Then there shall be no war. Peace befalling on the world. Or so he thought. He would not let anyone disrupt Gilbert Dullindal's plan. His chairman's plan.
And this man before him is going to do that. His enemy he shall be. The man piloting the Strike Gundam. Kira Yamato. He shall pay. Pay for killing his father Rau le Creuset. Pay for being a threat to the succession of his chairman's noble wish. For peace. He shall fight.
They fight. He loses under the other man's hands. But somehow the man let him go as Lacus Clyne's voice is heard, speaking to her love. Not to kill those who wants to protect their beloved's dreams. She is right. He is to protect his chairman's Destiny plan. For peace. For her.
Lunamaria Hawke. No one knows his feelings for her. He wants her safe. Happy. And only Shinn Asuka can take care of this wish of his. Anyway, he will die someway or another. Soon.
She is in danger as he makes his way back to his chairman's side. The chairman who ordered the aim of the super weapon, Requiem, at her and the Clyne faction. The faction that wants his Destiny plan to be lost. And she who supports the faction now. Shinn Asuka is nowhere to be seen as an arm of Destiny was found floating near her Impulse. The Impulse holding her twin swords, charging towards Requiem.
No way.
He flies towards her. Requiem shoots its beam. The beam nears her. She charges nearer to the beam…
As sudden as it happened, he takes the shot for her. She still charges. Her sword pierces through Legend. The beam hits Legend.
Legend is gone. Disintegrated into thin air. Kill by his beloved and Chairman. Lunamaria Hawke and Gilbert Dullindal.
She cries and he freezes.
Rey za Burrel is a clone but not the same as Rau le Creuset.
He dreamt. He protected.
And with a smile on his face, without regrets, with his final sincere words, "Live on… Lunamaria… Father…"
He died… Without regret.
